HomeMy WebLinkAbout7169 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1982/08/06r 1 4611-4141-' See- Ado. gi i c7 RESOLUTION NO. 7169 A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT UNDER SECTION 14-150(3)(a) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE TO PERMIT A GASOLINE SERVICE STATION ON PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE B-1, BUSINESS DISTRICT, AT 7119 MINNETONKA BOULEVARD BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Mobil Oil Company has made application to the City Council for a special permit under Section 14-150(3)(a) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code for the purpose of permitting a gasoline service station located at 7119 Minnetonka Bouelvard for the legal description as follows, to -wit: Northerly 100 feet of the westerly 20 feet of Lot 5, and the northerly 100 feet of Lots 6 and 7, Block 8, Lenox, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Hennepin County, Minnesota 2. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the Planning Commission (Case No. 82 -33 -SP) and the effect of the proposed gasoline service station on the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, the effect on values of properties in the surrounding area, the effect of the use on the Comprehensive Plan, and compliance with the intent of the Zoning Ordinance. 3. The Council has determined that the proposed gasoline service station will not be detrimental to the health, safety, or general welfare of the community nor will it cause serious traffic congestion nor hazards, nor will it seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and the proposed gasoline service station is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan. Conclusion The special permit to permit a gasoline service station at the location described is granted based on the findings set forth above and subject to the following conditions: 1. The site shall be developed, used and maintained in accordance with Exhibit A, Site Plan. 2. Any new sign to be erected must conform to the setback require- ments of the Zoning Ordinance.
