HomeMy WebLinkAbout7103 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1982/04/05REPLACEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 7103 A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT UNDER SECTION 14- 171(3) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING TO PERMIT A MINOR AUTOMOBILE REPAIR FACILITY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE I-1, INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, AT 6015 W. HIGHWAY 7 BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Twin City Tire Co. has made application to the City Council for a special permit under Section 14-471(3) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code for the purpose of permitting a minor automobile repair facility located at 6015 W. Highway 7 for the legal description as follows, to -wit: Tract D and that part of Tract C lying northwesterly of the southeasterly line of Tract D extended northeasterly to the northeasterly line of Tract C. R.L.S. No. 387. 2. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the Planning Commission (Case No. 82 -9 -SP) and the effect of the proposed automobile repair facility on the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, the effect on values of properties in the surrounding area, the effect of the use on the Comprehensive Plan, and compliance with the intent of the Zoning Ordinance. 3. The Council has determined that the automobile repair facility will not be detrimental to the health, safety, or general welfare of the community nor will it cause serious traffic congestion nor hazards, nor will it seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and the proposed automobile repair facility is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan. Conclusion The special permit to permit an automobile repair facility at the location described is granted based on the findings set forth above and subject to the following conditions: 1. The site shall be developed, used and maintained in accordance with Exhibit A, Site Plan, and Exhibit B, Planter Detail. 2. All refuse and old tire storage shall take place within the structure. No outside storage of any materials shall be permitted. 3. All work on vehicles conducted on the site shall be within the structure. 4. Signage shall be as allowed within the I -I zoning district. 5. The planter, landscaping and other site requirements, as shown on the exhibits, shall be completed by May 20, 1982.
