HomeMy WebLinkAbout6937 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1981/09/08RESOLUTION NO. 6937 RESOLUTION GIVING APPROVAL FOR FINAL PLAT OF DAYSTAR ADDITION BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Daystar Ministries and Halley Land Corporation, owners and subdividers of the land proposed to be platted as Daystar Addition, have submitted an application for approval of final plat of said subdivision in the manner required for platting of land under the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, and all proceedings have been duly had thereunder. 2. The proposed final plat has been found to be in all respects consis- tent with the City Plan and the regulations and requirements of the laws of the State of Minnesota and the ordinances of the City of St. Louis Park. 3. The proposed plat is situated upon the following described lands in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: Lots 1 to 10 inclusive and that part of Oakenwald Avenue now vacated between extensions eastward of the north line of said Lot 1 and the South line of said Lot 10, McCarty's 2nd Addition to Fern Hill, according to the plat thereof on file or of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for said County. Also that part of the South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 31, Township 29, Range 24 lying West of a line commencing at a point 50 feet west of the southwest corner of Lot 7, Block 2, McCarty's 1st Addition to Fern Hill and running in a northerly direction from said point parallel with the west line of Block 2, McCarty's 1st Addition to Fern Hill to the north line of the South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 31 except that part thereof embraced in the plat of McCarty's 2rid Addition to Fern Hill Conclusion 1. The proposed final plat of Daystar Addition is hereby approved and accepted by the City as being in accord and conformity with all ordinances, City plans and regulations of the City of St. Louis Park and the laws of the State of Minnesota, subject to the following conditions: 1. That all utilities including gas, electric, cable t.v., and the like shall be placed underground. 2. That at least a six foot wide utility and pedestrian easement be included on the final plat along the south side of the plat consistent with the sidewalk plan as shown on the special permit. provided', however, that this approval is made subject to Certification by the City 'Clerk as provided for in Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Resolution in the Office of•the Registrar of Deeds and Registrar of Titles for their use as required by M.S.A. 471.29. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to supply a certified copy of this Resolution to the above-named owner and subdivider, who is the applicant herein. 4. the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to executed all con- ttdcts required herein, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to execute the certificate of approval on behalf of the City Council upon the said plat when all the conditions set forth in Paragraph No. 1 above and Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code have been fulfilled. 5. Such execution of the certificate upon said plat by the City Clerk, as required under Section 14-303(3)(e), shall be conclusive showing of proper, compliance therewith by the subdivider and City officials charged with duties above-described and shall entitle such plat to be placed -on record forthwith without further formality.
