RESOLUTION NO. 6885
RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT IMPROVEMENT
NO. 80-10A
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park,
as follows:
1. The petitioners for this project, Northland Aluminum Products,
Inc., Dalquist Properties and Bennett J. and Violet F. Porter, have
waived their rights of appeal to an assessment hearing and any supple-
mental assessment hearings for this improvement. Acting in accordance
with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, the City Council_
has been fully advised of the pertinent facts. The City Council deems
the proposed assessment as just and the assessment as proposed is
adopted and shall constitute the special assessment against the res-
pective lands therein described and each tract of land is found to
he specifically benefitted by the improvements in the amount of assess-
ment levied against it.
2. The assessment shall be payable, unless prepaid, in equal annual
installments extending over the period of years designated in paragraph
3. The first installment shall be payable concurrently with general
taxes levied in the year 1981, and payable in the year 1982, and shall
bear interest at the rate of not to exceed nine per cent per annum
from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first
installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the
date of this assessment until December 31st of the year in which the
first installment becomes due and payable. To subsequent installments
when due shall he added interest for one year on the total of all un-
paid installments. No interest will be charged if the entire assess-
ment as to any parcel is paid at the office of the treasurer within
30 days from the date of adoption of the assessment resolution.
3. The number of years over which installments are to be extended
is as follows:

4. The clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this assessment to
the county auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county,
and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner
as other municipal taxes.
