LOUIS PARK ORDINANCEiCODE RELATING TO ZONING TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTIONOFAN ADDITLON TO AN INDUSTRIAL BUILDING WITHIN 200 FEET'OF THE'F-1 FLOODWAY DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE I-1, INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT', AT 3965 MEADOWBROOK ROAD BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Control Data Corporation Inc. has made'application to the City Council for a special permit under Section 14-123.100(2) of the St. Louis ?ark Ordinance Code for the purpose of constructing.an addition to an industri`a,l building within 200 feet of the F-1, Floodway District, for property located at 3965 Meadowbrook Road for the legal description as follows, to -wit: The West 468.8 feet of the North 400'feet of the South 688.8 feet of the Southeast Quarter'of the'Northwest Quarter of Section 20, Township 117, Range 21, except road, Hennepin County, Minnesota, City of St. Louis' Park 2. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the Planning Commission (Case No. 81 -42 -SP) and the effect of the proposed addition to an industrial building on the health, safety, and welfare of the' occupants of the urrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions,'the` effect on values of properties in the surrounding area, the effect of the use on the Comprehensive Plan, and compliance with the intent of the Zoning Ordi- nance. 3. The Council has determined that the addition to -an industrial building will not be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of the community nor will' it cause serious,: traffic congestion nor hazar'ds,' nor 'wi�lbl'��i"t 'Seriously depreciate surrounding propertya.val1ues, and the, proposed addition is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan. Conclusion The special permit to permit an addition to an industrial building at the location described is granted based on the findings set forth above and subject to -the following conditions: 1. The site shall be developed, used and maintained in accordance with Exhibit A, Site' Plan dated March 17, 1981 and Exhibit B, Floor Plan, except as such exhibits may be necessarily modified by the actions of the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. i ATTEST: C 2. The Watershed District permit shall become Exhibit C of this special permit. 3. No addition or part thereof shall be constructed so that the lowest floor elevation is below the flood protection elevation of 185.8 feet City datum (896.1 feet, MSL). 4. The parking lot shall be surfaced according to Ordinance requirements. 5. All construction and improvements shall be completed by October 30, 1982.
