HomeMy WebLinkAbout6837 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1981/05/04RESOLUTION NO. 6837 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PLACEMENT OF TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS ESTABLISHING FIRE LANES AT THE JOSE'S AMALGAMATED RESTAURANT OF SHELARD PARK WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis Park has caused a traffic analysis to be made on certain public or private property within the City with respect to fire lane designations; and WHEREAS, the results are analyzed by the Engineering Department and the Fire Department of the City indicating the following limitations on parking are required on the hereinafter described areas in order that the travel of fire equipment may not be interfered with, and that the access to fire hydrants to buildings will not be blocked off, and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1082, adopted November 17, 1969, by the City Council, provides for the installation of traffic control signs when and as required by resolution of the City Council, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park as follows: 1. The following areas of the Jose's Amalgamated Restaurant of Shelard Park located north of the north frontage road of Highway 12 and east of Ford Road are hereby designated as fire lanes; Attest: ity Clerk A. Both the east and west sides of the most westerly entrance from the north frontage road of Highway 12 to a point 72 feet north of the north frontage road of Highway 12; B. The north and south sides of the south driveway from the west entrance off the north frontage road of Highway 12 to a point 250 feet east of said west driveway entrance; C. The north and south sides of the north driveway entrance from the east boundary of the west parking lot to a point 265 feet east, said point being the boundary of the east parking lot of Joe's Amalgamated; D. The east and west sides of the most westerly driveway in the east parking lot from the north, east and west driveway to a point 50 feet south; E. The south side of the most southerly islands located in the east parking lot, the most easterly of that island being 40 feet long and the westerly island being 40 feet long; Adopted by the City Council May 4, 1981.
