HomeMy WebLinkAbout6792 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1981/03/16REPLACEMENT r RESOLUTION NO. 6792 RESOLUTION GIVING APPROVAL FOR FINAL PLAT OF RIDGE ADDITION BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Centurion Company owners and subdividers of the land proposed to be platted as Ridge Addition have submitted an application for approval of final plat of said subdivision in the manner required for platting of land under the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, and all proceedings have been duly had thereunder. 2. The proposed final plat has been found to be in all respects consistent with the City Plan and the regulations and requirements of the laws of the State of Minnesota and the ordinances of the City of St. Louis Park. 3. The -proposed plat is situated upon the following described lands in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 29, 1111 Range 24, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying West of the West right-of-way line of State Highway 100 and lying Northeast of a line bearing South 57 degrees 23 minutes 18 seconds East from a point on the West line of said Southwest Quarter of said Northwest Quarter (said West line is assumed herein to be due North and South) distant 340.01 feet South, as measured along said West line from the Northwest corner of said Southwest Quarter of said Northwest Quarter; except that part of the North 340 feet thereof lying East of a line drawn at a right angle to the North line of said Southwest Quarter of said Northwest Quarter from a point therein distant 375.18 feet East of the Northwest corner thereof and also except that part of said Southwest Quarter' of the Northwest Quarter described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the Westerly right of way line of State Highway No. 100 with a line parallel with and 340 feet South of the North line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence West along said parallel line 345 feet; thence at a right angle South a distance of 58 feet; thence deflecting to the left at an angle of 60 degrees 18 minutes 14 seconds a distance of 197.61 feet; thence deflecting to the left at an angle of 8 degrees 25 minutes 46 seconds a distance of 105 feet to a point in said right of way line of State Highway No. 100 distant 208.15 feet Southwesterly, measured along said right of way line, from the point of beginning; thence Northeasterly along said right of way line 208.15 feet to the point of beginning. Also that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, Town- ship 29, Range 24, described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the Westerly right of way line of State Highway No. 100 with a line parallel with and 340 feet South of the North line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence West along said parallel line 345 feet; thence at a right angle South a distance of 58 feet; thence deflecting to the left at an angle of 60 degrees 18 minutes 14 econds a -distance of 197.61 feet; thence deflecting to the left at an angle of 8 degrees 25 minutes 46 seconds a distance of 105 feet to a point in said right of way line of State Highway No. 100 distant 208.15 feet Southwesterly, measured along said right of way line, from the point of beginning; thence Northeasterly along said right of way line 208.15 feet to the point of beginning. Conclusion 1. The proposed final plat of Ridge Addition is hereby approved and accepted by the City as being in accord and conformity with all ordinances, City plans and regu- lations of the City of St. Louis Park and the laws of the State of Minnesota provided, however, that this approval is made subject to Certification by the City Clerk as provided for in Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code., 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Resolution in the Office of the Register of Deeds and Registrar of Titles for their use as required by M.S.A. 471.29. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to supply a certified copy of this Resolution to the above-named owner and subdivider, who is the applicant herein. 4. The Mayor and City'Manager are hereby authorized, to execute all contracts re- quired herein, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to execute the certificate of approval on behalf of the City Council upon the said plat when all of the conditions set forth in Paragraph No. 1 above and Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code have been fulfilled. 5. Such execution of the certificate upon said plat by the City Clerk, as required under Section 14-303(3)(e), shall be conclusive showing of proper compliance therewith by the subdivider and City officials charged with duties above-described and shall entitle such plat to be placed on record forthwith without further formality. 6. This resolution shall be effective on May 21, 1981 provided that there has been4111 no appeal of the assessment levied for Improvement Project 81-15 prior to said date.
