RESOLUTION No. 6756
RESOLUTION EXTENDING SYMPATHY
TO THE FAMILY OF ERNEST R. JACOBSEN
WHEREAS, Ernest R. Jacobsen died on January 10, 1981, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Jacobsen has made significant contributions to the
developmeht and progress of St. Louis Park; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Jacobsen served as a State Representative from St.
Louis Park from 1963-1966, and
WHEREAS, during his years of dedicated service to the community,
he relfected credit upon himself and his family; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council recognizes the outstanding
service of Ernest R. Jacobsen to the community, recognizing further
that his death is a distinct loss to the City of St. Louis Park; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that on behalf of all the citizens of St.
Louis Park, the City Council, Mayor, City Manager and its staff wish
to express their most sincere and heartfelt sympathy to his wife,
Cecelia, and his family in their loss.
