HomeMy WebLinkAbout6755 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1981/01/12January 12, 1981 RESOLUTION NO. 6755 RESOLUTION EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY OF KENNETH W. WOLFE WHEREAS, Kenneth W. Wolfe died on January 11, 1981, and WHEREAS, Mr. Wolfe served the City of St. Louis Park in many capacities through membership on various boards and commissions, and WHEREAS, Mr. Wolfe served as a member of the City Council from 1956-1959 and as Mayor from 1960-1966 and as a State Senator from St. Louis Park from 1967-1972 faithfully and in the highest tradition of public service; and WHEREAS, he gave a total commitment of his duties and obligations to the residents of the City, thereby adding distinction to his position and himself; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council and all employees of St. Louis Park wish to express their most sincere and heartfelt sympathy to his wife, Alice, and his family in their great loss and sacrifice; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council, Mayor, City Manager and all employees of the City recognize the outstanding service of Kenneth W. Wolfe, and along with all his many friends and citizens of the City are extremely proud and fortunate to have known a most dedicated official during his many years of public service and express profound regret upon the occasion of his death which is a loss to the entire City of St. Louis Park he so ably and faithfully served.
