LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING TO PERMIT THE EXPANSION OF A RESTAURANT AND LIQUOR STORE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE I-3, INDUSTRIAL, AT 6900 W. LAKE STREET BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Reiss', Inc. has made application to the City Council for a special permit under Section 14-181 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code for the purpose of expanding a restaurant and liquor store on property located at 6900 W. Lake Street for the legal description as follows, to -wit: Lots 29, 30, and 31, Block 174, St. Louis Park Addition 2. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the Planning Commission (Case No. 80 -49 -SP) and the effect of the proposed land reclamation by filling on the health, safety, and welfare of the occupants'of the surrounding lands,, existing and anticipated traffic conditions; the effect on'values-of properties in the surrounding area, the effect of the use on the Comprehensive Plan, and compliance with the intent of the Zoning Ordinance. 3. The Council has determined that the proposed reclamation of land by filling will not be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of the community nor will it cause serious traffic congestion nor hazards, nor will it seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and the pro- posed reclamation of land by filling is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan. Conclusion The special permit to permit expansion of a restaurant and liquor store described is granted based on the findings set forth above and subject to the following conditions: 1. That Resolution 6395 is hereby rescinded. 2. That the site be developed, used and maintained in accordance with Exhibit AA, Site and Landscape Plan; Exhibit BB, Basement Plan; Exhibit CC, First Floor Plan; Exhibit DD, Elevation Plans; Exhibit E, Alternate Entry Plan (dated 1 August, 1979, see Case No. 79 -60 -SP). 3. That the first 3 parking spaces along the western edge of the pro- posed parking lot be designated and signed for short-term, liquor store parking only. 4. All work, including parking lot construction, landscaping and building alterations (except the northwest add.) be completed by October 15, 1980. The northwest alterations shall be completed by July 15, 1981.
