HomeMy WebLinkAbout6480 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1980/01/21it JANUARY 21, 1980 llb RESOLUTION NO. 6480 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEES' SALARIES AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE'YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1980 WHEREAS, as authorized by Section 3-301 of the St. Louis Park Ordfnance Code, the City -Council has established the "Position Classification Plan and Salary Administration Program for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota"; and WHEREAS, Section 3-301 provides that as often as necessary, the Position Classification and Salary Plan shall be reviewed'Iand revised by the Council; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of 9t. Louis Park that the salary structure for members of I.,TJ.O.EI. Local No., '49 as shown in the Position Classification and Salary Plan for the City of St.,Louis Park, as amended by Resolution No. 5964, is further amende# as follows: PUBLIC WORKS CLASSIFICATIONS 1980 SALARY TABLE Hourly Rates STEPS 1 Range 2 3 PWW 7.00 7.39 7.78 PW1 7.31- 7.71 8.12 1 PW2 7.48 7.89 8.31 PW3 7.71 8.14 8.57 PW4 8.04 8.48 8.93 CLASSIFICATION ASSIGNMENT Range Classification Title ' PWW Labor (Public Works) PW1 Maintenance I (Sign and Signal) (Equipment Service) (Water and Sewer) (Equipment Operator) PW2 Maintenance II (Pump Station) (`pater and Sewer) (*Maintenance Services) PW3 Maintenance III (Equipment Operator) PW4 Maintenance IV (Equipment Mechanic) (lump Station) (Sign and Signal) RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED chat the City shall pay to the insurers from the funds of the City, for approved group insurance coverage for Public Works Employees (Local No. 49), permanent or probationary, regardless of their :canner of selection or appointment, the maximum sum of $85 per month toward hrspital/tredical/hasic life benefits offered by any insuring organization under contract with the City of St. Louis Park effective January 1, 1980.
