A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT UNDER SECTION 14-156 OF
THE ST. LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE RELATINGG TO ZONING
TO PERMIT A CLASS IV RESTAURANT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED
IN THE B-2, GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, AT 7121
WAYZATA BOULEVARD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of St. Louis Park:
Findings

1. George Daniels has made application to the City Council for a special
permit under Section 14-156 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code for the
purpose of constructing and operating a Class IV restaurant on property located
at 7121 Wayzata Boulevard for the legal description as follows, to -wit:
Lots 464 and 465 (except the highway), Richmond Addition
2. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the
Planning Commission (Case No. 79 -69 -SP) and the effect of the proposed Class IV
restaurant on the health, safety, and welfare of the occupants of the surround-
ing lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, the effect on values of
properties in the surrounding area, the effect of the use on the Comprehensive
Plan, and compliance with the intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
3. The Council has determined that the proposed Class IV restaurant will
not be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of the community
nor will it cause serious traffic congestion nor hazards, nor will it seriously
depreciate surrounding property values, and the proposed Class IV restaurant
is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance and
the Comprehensive Plan.
Conclusion
The special permit to permit the construction and operation of a Class IV
restaurant at the location described is granted based on the findings set
forth above and subject to the following conditions:
1. The property shall be developed, used and maintained
in accordance with Exhibit A, Site Plan; Exhibit B,
Floor Plan/Building Elevations, except as modified by
the Inspectional Services Department to meet the
requirements of regulations governing food handling
and trash, garbage storage for restaurants, and the
roof line on the rear elevation which shall be con-
tinuous with and of the same material as shown on
the front and side elevations.
2. There shall be no access provided along the west side of
the property to or from Louisiana Avenue.
3. All trash and garbage must be stored indoors.
4. All construction and site improvements, including land-
scaping driveway and parking surfacing and striping and
any other related improvements must be completed by
June 15, 1980.
