RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT
IMPROVEMENT NO. 73-27
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council pf the City of St. Louis Park as
follows:
1. Notice of hearing on this improvement was duly mailed on
September 11, 1979, and published in the official city newspaper, the
St. Louis Park Sun, on September 19, 1979, as required by Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 429, and as ordered by the City Council.
2; A public hearing having been held on this date and opportunity
having been given at the hearing to all persons to make known their objec-
tions to the proposed assessment, and the Council being fully advised of
the pertinent facts, the proposed assessment, as it deems just, is adopted
and shall constitute the special assessment levied against the'respective
lands therein described, and each tract ofland is found to be specifically
benefited by the improvements in the amount of assessment levied against it.
3. The assessment shall bei_payable, unless prepaid', in equal annual
instalments extending over the period of years designated in paragraph 4.
The first instalment shall,be payable concurrently with general taxes levied
in the -year 1979 and payable in the year 1980, and shall bear interest at
the rate of seven percent per annum from the date of the adoption of this
assessment resolution. To the first instalment shall be added interest on
the entire assessment from the date of this assessment until December 31 of
the year in which the first instalment becomes due and payable. To subse-
quent instalments when due shall be added interest for one year on the total
of all unpaid instalments. No interest will be charged if the entire assess-
ment as to any parcel is paid at the office of the treasurer within 30 days
from the dats of adoption of the assessment resolution.
4. The number of years over which instalments are to be extended is as
follows:

which shall be extended over a period of twenty years.
5. The clerk shall transmit a_certified copy of this assessment to
the county auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county,
and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner
as other municipal taxes.
