RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT
IMPROVEMENT NO. 78-21
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park as
follows:
1. Notice of hearing on this improvement was duly mailed on September 4,
1979, and published in the official city newspaper, the St. Louis Park Sun, on
September 12, 1979, as required by Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and as
ordered by the City Council.
2. .A public hearing having been held on this date and opportunity having
been given at the hearing to all persons to make known their objections to
the proposed assessment, and the Council being fully advised of the pertinent
facts, the proposed assessment as it deems just, is adopted and shall consti-
tute the special assessment levied against the respective lands therein
described, and each tract of land is found to be specifically benefitted by
the improvements in the amount of assessment levied against it.
3. The assessment shall be payable, unless prepaid, in equal annual
instalments extending over the period of years designated in paragraph 4.
The first instalment shall be payable concurrently with general taxes levied
in the year 1979 and payable in the year 1980, and shall bear interest at the
rate of seven percent per annum from the date of the adoption of this assess-
ment resolution. To the first instalment shall be added interest on the entire
assessment from the date of this assessment until December 31 of the year in
which the first instalment becomes due and payable. To subsequent instalments
when due shall be added interest for one year on the total of all unpaid instal-
ments. No interest will be charged if the entire assessment as to any parcel
is paid at the office of the treasurer within 30 days from the date of adoption
of the assessment resolution.
4. The number of years over which instalments are to be extended is as
follows:

which shall be extended over a period of twenty years.

5. The clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this assessment to the
county auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county, and such
assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other
municipal taxes. g
