HomeMy WebLinkAbout6244 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1979/04/02April 2, 1979 RESOLUTION NO. 6244 RESOLUTION GIVING APPROVAL FOR FINAL PLAT OF RAMAS ADDITION BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Satya P. Garg, Indu Garg, Sohan Uppal and Vijay Uppal, owners and subdividers of the land proposed to be platted as Ramas Addition, have submitted an application for approval of final plat of said subdivision in the manner required for platting of land under the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, and all proceedings have been duly had thereunder. 2. The proposed final plat has been found to be in all respects consistent with the City Plan and the regulations and requirements of the laws of the State of Minnesota and the ordinances of the City of St. Louis Park. 3. The proposed plat is situated upon the following described lands in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: The East 140 feet of the West 433 feet of that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 31, Township 29 North, Range 24, West of the 4th Principal Meridian described as follows: Beginning at a point on the South line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter distant 884.2 feet Easterly of the Southwest corner thereof; thence continuing Easterly along said South line a distance of 792.6 feet; thence Northwesterly to an intersection with a point on a line drawn parallel with the Westerly line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter distant 297.2 feet Northerly, as measured along said parallel line, from the point of begin- ning; thence Southerly along said parallel line to the point of beginning. Conclusion 1. The proposed final plat of Ramas Addition is hereby approved and ac- cepted by the City as being in accord and conformity with all ordinances, City plans and regulations of the City of St. Louis Park and the laws of the State of Minnesota, subject to the following conditions: a. Enter into a contract with the City to provide for the subdivision improvements which will include (a) providing water connections to lots 1 and 2 from W. 28th Street, (b) providing a sanitary sewer connection along a private easement into the City's sanitary sewer system located north of the adjacent synagogue. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Resolution in the office of the Register of Deeds and Registrar of Titles for their use as required by M.S.A. 471.2.9. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to supply a certified copy of this Resolution to the above-named owner and subdivider, who is the applicant herein. 4. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute all contracts required herein, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to execute the certificate of approval on behalf of the City Council upon the said plat when all of the conditions set forth in paragraph number 1 above and Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code have been fulfilled. 5. Such execution of the certificate upon said plat by the City Clerk, as required under Section 14-303(3)(e), shall be conclusive showing of proper compliance therewith by the subdivider and City officials charged with duties above described and shall entitle such plat to be placed on record forthwith without further formality.
