THOMPSON ADDITION BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Edward G. Thompson, owner and subdivider of the land proposed to be platted as Edward G. Thompson Addition has submitted an application for approval of final plat of said subdivision in the manner required for platting of land under the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, and all proceedings have been duly had thereunder. 2. The proposed final plat has been found to be in all respects consistent with the City Plan and the regulations and requirements of the laws of the State of Minnesota and the ordinances of the City of St. Louis Park. 3. The proposed plat is situated upon the following described lands in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: That part of the west 2 of the east 4 of the south z of the southwest 4 of the southwest 4, Section 8, Township 117, Range 21, west of the Fifth Principal Meridian, described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of said 2 of the east 4 of the south 2 of the southwest oof the southwest 4; thence west along the north line thereof a distance of 75 feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract of land to be described; thence continuing west along said north line a distance of 80 feet; thence south parallel with the east line of said west z of the east 4 of the south Z of the southwest 4 of the southwest 4 a distance of 216.0 feet; thence easterly along a curve, the radius of which is 50 feet and which curve is convex to the north a distance of 40 feet; thence northeasterly a distance of 66 feet to a point which is 75 feet west of said east line and 162 feet south of the actual point of beginning; thence north parallel with said east line a distance of 162 feet to the actual point of beginning. Also that part of Lot 1, Block 1, East Texas Tonka, according to the recorded plat thereof, lying north of the south 52.8 feet as measured along the front and rear lines thereof. This property is commonly referred to as 2917 Quebec Avenue South Conclusion 1. The proposed final plat of Edward G. Thompson Addition is hereby approved and accepted by the City as being in accord and conformity with ' all ordinances, City plans and regulations of the City of St. Louis Park and the laws of the State of Minnesota, subject to the following conditions: 1. A variance be granted to permit a lot width of 53 feet for Lot 2. 2. The minimum floor elevation for Lot 2 shall be 208 feet St. Louis Park datum. provided, however, that this approval is made subject to Certification by the City Clerk as provided for in Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this resolution in the office of the Register of Deeds and Registrar of Titles for their use as required by M.S.A. 471.29. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to supply a certified copy of this Resolution to the above-named owner and subdivider, who is the applicant herein. 4. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute all con- tracts required herein, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to execute the certificate of approval on behalf of the City Council upon the said plat when all of the conditions set forth in paragraph no. 1 above and Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code have been fulfilled. 5. Such execution of the certificate upon said plat by the City Clerk, as required under Section 14-3O3(3)(e), shall be conclusive showing of proper compliance therewith by the subdivider and City officials charged with duties above described and shall entitle such plat to be placed of record forthwith without further formality.
