LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF AN OUTDOOR STORAGE YARD FOR CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE I-1 INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AT 6660 OXFORD AVENUE BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Construction Materials, Inc. has made application to the City Council for a special permit under Section 14-171(6) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code for the purpose of construction of an outdoor storage yard for construction materials located at 6660 Oxford Avenue for the legal description as follows, to -wit: Lot 3, Block 1, Allen Gerrison's Addition 2. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the Planning Commission (Case No. 78 -22 -SP) and the effect of the proposed con- struction of an outdoor storage yard on the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, the effect on values of properties in the surrounding area, the effect of the use on the Comprehensive Plan, and compliance with the intent of the Zoning Ordinance. -- 3. The Council has determined that the proposed outdoor storage yard will not be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of the community nor will it cause serious traffic congestion nor hazards, nor will it seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and the proposed outdoor storage yard is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan. Conclusion The special permit to permit an outdoor storage yard at the location described is granted based on the findings set forth above and subject to the following conditions: 1. The site shall be developed, used, and maintained in accordance with Exhibit A, Site Plan; Exhibit B, Landscape Plan; Exhibit C, Fence Plan; and the fence shall include and be screened with decorative slats so that it is opaque. 1 t No materials shall be stored within the fenced area above the height of the fence. 3. The curb cut and paved driveway shall be provided from Oxford Street to the fenced area, and the curb cut shall not be more than 30 feet in width. 4. The site shall be continuously maintained in accordance with the above condition. 5. All of the site improvements shall be completed by September 1, 1978.
