HomeMy WebLinkAbout5959 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1978/02/21RESOLUTION NO. 5959 RESOLUTION GIVING APPROVAL FOR FINAL PLAT FOR FRIEDBERG ADDITION BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Joseph and Carolyn Friedberg, owners and subdividers of the land proposed to be platted as Friedberg Addition have submitted an application for approval of final plat of said subdivision in the manner required for platting of land under the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, and all proceedings have been duly had thereunder. 2. The proposed final plat has been found to be in all respects con- sistent with the City Plan and the regulations and requirements of the laws of the State of Minnesota and the ordinances of the City of St. Louis Park. 3. The proposed plat is situated upon the following described lands in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: Lot 3, Block 1, Posnick Addition, and all that part of the North half of the East half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 29, Range 24, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the North line of the said North half of the East half, 125 feet East of the Northwest corner thereof; thence East along said North line 100 feet; thence South parallel with the West line of said North half of the East half 360 feet more or less to a point 300 feet North of the South line of said North half of the East half; thence West parallel with said South line 100 feet; thence North parallel with the West line of said North half of the East half to the point of beginning. Conclusion 1. The proposed final plat of Friedberg Addition is hereby approved and accepted by the City as being in accord and conformity with all ordinances, City plans and regulations of the City of St. Louis Park and the laws ,f the State of Minnesota, subject to the following conditions: 1. The site shall be graded in accordance with the Grading and Drainage Plan prepared by Egan, Field, and Novak, Inc. and providing for a minimum floor elevation on Lot 1 of 876' above sea level. 2. Sanitary sewer and water lines be provided from the street to the property lines. 3. One street tree shall be installed in the boulevard, and the boulevard area shall be sodded. 4. The subdivision improvements shall be completed by September 15, 1978. provided, however, that this approval is made subject to Certification by the City Clerk as provided for in Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this regulation in the office of the Register of Deeds and Registrar of Titles for their use as required by M.S.A. 471.29. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to supply a certified copy of this regulation to the above-named owner and subdivision, who is the applicant herein. 4. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute all contracts required herein, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to execute the certificate of approval on behalf of the City Council upon the said plat when all of the conditions set forth in paragraph no. 1 above and Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code have been fulfilled. 5. Such execution of the certificate upon said plat by the City Clerk, as required under Section 14-303(3)(e), shall be conclusive showing of proper compliance therewith by the subdivider and City officials charged with duties above described and shall entitle such plat to be placed of record forthwith without further formality.
