HomeMy WebLinkAbout5909 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1977/11/211 RESOLUTION NO. 5909 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY FOR STORM SEWER EASEMENT AND SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT WHEREAS, the City Council of St. Louis Park has authorized and directed the City Manager to negotiate with the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of St. Louis Park for the acquisition of the easements to the land herein- after described, for public uses, and WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of St. Louis Park, pursuant to such negotiations, has indicated their desire to donate said property to the City by Quit Claim Deed at no cost, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of St. Louis Park that the City of St. Louis Park acquire from the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of St. Louis Park the following described easements in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: An easement for drainage and storm sewer in and over a 20 foot wide strip lying 10 feet on each side of a line described as commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 3, Oak Park Village, thence on an assumed bearing of South 474.63 feet along the Westerly line to the point of beginning, thence deflecting to the left at an angle of 91 degrees 30 minutes a distance of 113 feet and there terminating. An easement for sanitary sewer purposes in and over a 20 foot strip lying 10 feet on each side of a line described as commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 3, Oak Park Village, thence on an assumed bearing of South a distance of 527.63 feet along the Westerly line, thence on a curve to the left with a radius of 150 feet a distance of 20.5 feet to the point of beginning, thence North 55 degrees East a distance of 50 feet and there terminating. and the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute any and all instruments necessary to complete the acquisition of said easements and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to accept delivery of the deed from the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of St. Louis Park at no cost to the City.
