HomeMy WebLinkAbout5889 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1977/11/07RESOLUTION NO. 5889 RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT UNDER SECTION 14-141(9) TO PERMIT A 9 UNIT MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE R-4 MULTIPLE FAMILY DISTRICT AT 1436 HAMPSHIRE AVENUE SOUTH BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. A. J. Poppelaars has made application to the City Council for a special permit under Section 14-141(9) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code for the purpose of constructing a 9 unit multiple dwelling at 1436 Hampshire Avenue South for the legal description as follows, to -wit: Lots 24, 25, and 26, Richmond Addition 2. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the Planning Commission (Case No. 77 -63 -SP) and the effect of the proposed 9 unit multiple family dwelling on the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, the effect on values of properties in the surrounding area, the effect of the use on the Comprehensive Plan, and compliance with the intent of the Zoning Ordinance. 3. The Council has determined that the proposed 9 unit multiple family dwelling will not be detrimental to the health, safety, or general welfare of the community nor will it cause serious traffic congestion nor hazards, nor will it seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and the proposed 9 unit multiple family dwelling is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan. Conclusion The special permit to permit a 9 unit multiple family dwelling at the location described is granted based on the findings set forth above and subject to the following conditions: 1. The site shall be developed, used, and maintained in accordance with Exhibit A, Site Plan; Exhibit B, Landscape Plan; Exhibit C, Drainage Plan; Exhibit D, North Elevation; Exhibit E,'East Ele- vation; Exhibit F, South Elevation; and Exhibit G, West Elevation. 2. All construction, paving, landscaping, and parking lot striping shall be completed by October 1, 1978. 3. The building shall be constructed in accordance with the uniform building code.
