RESOLUTION NO. 5856
RESOLUTION LEVYING ASSESSMENT FOR DELINQUENT
WATER/SEWER SERVICE CHARGES, NUISANCE ABATE-
MENTS, AND TREE REMOVAL.
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore determined by ordinance
the rates and charges for sewer and water services of the City, and has
provided for the abatement of nuisance and tree removal at the expense
of the owners of the premises involved; and
WHEREAS, all such sums become delinquent and assessable against
the property served under Section 9-103, Section 9-230, Section 6-206
and Section 15-234 (6) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code and M.S.A.
Sections 18.271, and 18.023; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has prepared an assessment roll setting
forth an assessment against each tract or parcel of land served by
sewer and water services of the City or charged for the cost of abating
a nuisance and tree removal for all sums remaining delinquent and unpaid
on September 17, 1977; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park
that said assessment roll is hereby adopted and approved, and there is
hereby levied and assessed against each and every tract of land described
therein an assessment in the amounts respectively therein set forth,
which assessments are hereby determined to be the delinquent service
charges for sewer, water, nuisance abatements and tree removal as to
said respective premises, which remain unpaid on September 17, 1977.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be hereby authorized
to deliver said assessment roll to the Auditor of Hennepin County for
collection of the assessments therein set forth in like manner as state,
county and other taxes are collected and payment thereof enforced.
