RESOLUTION NO. 5787
AUTHORIZING, TAKING OF LAND BY EMINENT DOMAIN FOR
BUS PLAZA PURPOSES AT 7921 MINNETONKA BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City Council has ordered preparation of a
resolution authorizing taking of land by eminent domain, and the City
planners and engineer have recommended the, acquisition of land for
bus plaza purposes at the location hereinafter specified, and it
appears to the Council that it is necessary that,the City acquire
such lands, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of St. Louis Park:
1. That it is hereby determined that the taking of the
parcel of land set forth,in paragraph 3 hereof is necessary for the
public good in order that said parcel shall be devoted to bus plaza
purposes.
2. That the City shall take by right:of eminent domain
for bus plaza purposes the land described in,paragraph 3 hereof, and
the City Attorney be hereby authorized and directed ,to commence pro-
ceedings•in the District Court,of Hennepin,County for appointment of
Commissioners to determine the damages, if any,'sustained by the
respective owners of theetparcel affected by such,taking, as author-
ized by law, and
3. That the land above referred to is more particularly
described as follows:
The West 14 feet of the South 26
feet of the North 83 feet of
Lot 4, Block 4, Roanoke ,Acres.
