HomeMy WebLinkAbout5775 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1977/07/05r t 1 r RESOLUTION NO. 5775 RESOLUTION GIVING APPROVAL FOR FINAL PLAT OF SPONSEL'S ADDITION BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Dr. Kenath Sponsel, the owner and subdivider of the land proposed to be platted as Sponsel's Addition has submitted an application for approval of final plat of said subdivision in the manner required for platting of land under the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, and all proceedings have been duly had thereunder. 2. The proposed final plat has been found to be in all respects consis- tent with the City Plan and the regulations and requirements of the laws of the State of Minnesota and the ordinances of the City of St. Louis Park. 3. The proposed plat is situated upon the following described lands in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 3, Wooddale Park and that part of the south 20' of the adjoining vacated West 42nd Street, also known as Leary Street, lying easterly of the extension southerly of the easterly line of that part of Raleigh Avenue which lies northerly of said West 42nd Street, and lying westerly of a line drawn perpendicular to the north line of said Lot 3 from the northeast corner of said Lot 3. Conclusion 1. The proposed final plat of Sponsel's Addition is hereby approved and accepted by the City as being in accord and conformity with all ordinances, City plans and regulations of the City of St. Louis Park and the laws of the State of Minnesota, subject to the following conditions: 1. All utilities be placed underground 2. The site shall be graded in accordance with preliminary grading and drainage plan dated November 19, 1976 and prepared by Temple Associates, consulting engineers, and provided, however, that this approval is made subject to Certification by the City Clerk as provided for in Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Resolution in the office of the Register of Deeds and Registrar of Titles for their use as required by M.S.A. 471.29. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to supply a certified copy of this Resolution to the above-named owner and subdivider, who is the applicant herein. 4. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute all con- tracts required herein, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to execute the certificate of approval on behalf of the City Council upon the said plat when all of the conditions set forth in paragraph no. 1 above and Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code have been fulfilled. 5. Such execution of the certificate upon said plat by the City Clerk, as required under Section 14-303(3)(e), shall be conclusive showing of proper compliance therewith by the subdivider and City officials charged with duties above described and shall entitle such plat to be placed of record forthwith without further formality.
