HomeMy WebLinkAbout5745 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1977/06/06RESOLUTION NO. 5745 ESTABLISHING POLICY TO INSURE NOTIFICATION OF PROPERTY OWNERS AND_AFFECTED PUBLIC RELATING TO PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT IN THE DDD ZONING DISTRICT BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that this policy is hereby adopted to insure notification and opportunity to participate by property owners and the affected public prior to Plan Commission review of development in the DDD area consistent with require- ments of the DDD Ordinance and Guide Plan. 44, $E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this policy is applicable to the review of amendments to the DDD Ordinance, the DDD boundaries, or any special permit or Site Plan Approval application applied for in the area zoned Diversified Development District. This policy sets forth a procedure and requirements beyond those required by State statutes and the City code. 1. A list of all property owners within the DDD area will be maintained, and the owners of such property will be notified of any request for an amendment to the DDD Ordinance, the district boundaries of the DDD area, amendments to the Guide Plan, or requests for a Special Permit or Site Plan Approval under the provisions of the DDD Ordinance. 2. For any amendment to the DDD boundaries, Ordinance, or Guide Plan, or for any requests for Special Permit or Site Plan Approval involving or including land south of the Burlington Northern Railroad, notification will also be given to the officers of any neighborhood association in the 252 Street area, and noti- fication will be given to all property owners on West 252 Street from Vernon to Alabama. 3. For any amendment to the DDD boundaries, Ordinance, or Guide Plan, or for any requests for Special Permit or Site Plan Approval involving land north of the Burlington Northern Railroad, and west of Vernon Avenue, notification will be given to neighborhood officials in the Alabama -Blackstone neighborhood area and all property owners on Zarthan Avenue, Alabama, Blackstone, Brunswick, Cedar Lake Road, and West 16th Street. i 4. In connection with any amendment to the DDD Ordinance, or the DDD boundaries, the Guide Plan, or any requests for Special Permit or Site Plan Approval, information about such proposals will be made available to the property owners as identified in 1, 2, or 3'above.
