LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING TO PERMIT CUSTOM AUTO SERVICES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE I-1 DISTRICT AT 5715 WEST 36 STREET BE IT RESOLVED BY the City of St: Louis Park: Findings 1. John Witt has made application to the City Council for a special permit under Section 14-171(3) of the St. Louis -Park Ordinance Code for the purpose of permitting custom auto services at the 5715 West 36 Street for the legal description as follows, to -wit: That part of Lot 10 lying westerly of the easterly 18 feet thereof, and Lot 3, Block 45, St. Louis Park. 2. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the Planning Commission (Case No. 76 -92 -SP) and the effect of the proposed custom auto services on the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, the effect on values of properties in the surrounding area and the effect, of the use on the Comprehensive Plan. 3. The Council has determined that the custom auto services will not be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of the community nor will it cause serious traffic congestion nor hazards, nor will it seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and the proposed custom auto services arc in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan. Conclusion The special permit to permit custom auto services at the location described is granted based on the findings set forth above and subject to the following conditions: 1. A total of 15 parking spaces shall be provided on the site. 2. There shall be no outdoor sales or display of merchandise or vehicles of any kind. 3. There shall be no outside storage of vehicles for more .than 48 hours, and there shall be no outside storage of refuse or vehicle parts of any kind. 4. The floor area of the building shall be developed, used and maintained in accordance with Exhibit A, Floor Plan, and the site shall be developed in accordance with Exhibit B, Site Plan/Survey. 5. Signs shall be permitted in accordance with the provisions of the I-1 District.
