HomeMy WebLinkAbout5658 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1976/12/20.December 20, 1976 RESOLUTION NO. 5658 A RESOLUTION REVISING THE POSITION CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5456 EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1977 WHEREAS, as authorized by Section 3-301 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code the City Council has established the "Position Classification Plan and Salary Administration Program for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota", and WHEREAS, Section 3-301 provides that as often as necessary, the Position Classification and Salary Plan shall be reviewed and revised by the ACounci 1, therefore BF IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the salary structure for office, technical and maintenance employees as shown in the Position Classification and Salary Plan for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, be amended as shown in the attached Exhibits A and B. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, in addition to the legal holidays.indicated in Section 3-606 and vacation leave indicated in Section 3-601 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, all employees shall be permitted one additional leave day per year, provided that the division or department head shall approve the time at which this leave may be taken. Nothing in this Section, however, shall apply to positions represented by Teamsters Local No. 320, International Association of Firefighters Local No. 933, International Union of Operating Engineers, Local No. 49. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 5456, paragraph 3, is amended as follows: 3. Effective January 1, 1977, the City shall pay to the insurers from the funds of the City for such approved group insurance coverage for its paid employees or officers, permanent or probationary, regardless of their manner of selection or appointment, a sum of thirty-five and 74/100 dollars ($35.74) of the premium for individual coverage under the Western Life Hospitalization and Usual and Customary Medical -Surgical Contract, Group Health Contract, Medical Center Health Contract, Physicians' Health Contract and Minnesota Benefit Association's Contract in accordance with M.S.A. 471.61.
