LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING TO ALLOW BUILDING AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE PUD, PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, AT 4606 EXCELSIOR BOULEVARD BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Michael James Jennings has made application to the City Council for a special permit under Section 14-124.101 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code to allow building and site improvements at 4606 Excelsior Boulevard within a Planned Unit Development District (PUD)having the following legal description: A Lot 11, except for the easterly 20 feet thereof, and Lots 12-20, Block 3, Minikanda Vista 2nd Addition 2. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the Planning Commission (Case No. 76 -89 -SP) and the effect of the proposed building and site improvements on the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, the effect on values of properties in the surrounding area and the effect of the use on the Comprehensive Plan. 3. The Council has determined that the building and site improvements will not be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of the community nor will it cause serious traffic congestion nor hazards, nor will it seriously -depreciate surrounding_ property _values, and_ the proposed building and site improvements within the Planned Unit Development are in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan. Conclusion The special permit to permit building and site improvements within the Planned Unit Development at the location described is granted based on the findings set forth above and subject to the following conditions: J 1. The site be developed, used and maintained in accordance with the overall general plan for the Planned Unit Development District and site plan for the special permit. 2. That ten parking spaces in the municipal parking lot now assigned to Lot 7, Block 3, Minikanda Vista 2nd Addition, be transferred to the subject property. 3. That the site be surfaced and striped in accordce with the City requirements and that other landscaping, exterior modifications and curbing be completed no later than July 15, 1977, except for work otherwise covered on the plans.
