HomeMy WebLinkAbout5638 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1976/11/151 1 1 NOVEMBER 15, 1976 RESOLUTION NO. 5638 RESOLUTION GIVING APPROVAL FOR FINAL PLAT OF VERNDALE TERRACE BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Gene and Leatrice Louismet and Richard and Mabeth Neslund, the owners and subdividers of the land proposed to be platted as Verndale Terrace have submitted an application for approval of final plat of said subdivision in the manner required for platting of land under the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, and all proceedings have been duly had thereunder. -2. The proposed final plat has been found to be in all respects consistent with the City Plan and the regulations and requirements of the laws of the State of Minnesota and the ordinances of the City of St. Louis Park. 3. The proposed plat is situate upon the following described lands in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 29, Range 24, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the West line of said South- west Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, distant 336.2 feet North of the Southwest corner of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence North along said West line of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter to a point distant 518.08 feet South of the Northwest corner of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence Southeasterly deflecting to the right 122 degrees 36 minutes 42 seconds to an intersection with a line parallel with and -150 feet East of the West line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence South along said parallel line to its intersection with a line drawn East from the actual point of beginning and parallel with the South line of said Southwest Quarter of the North- west Quarter; thence West along last said parallel line to the actual point of beginning located easterly of Vernon Avenue at West 251/2 Street. Conclusion 1. The proposed final plat of Verndale Terrace is hereby approved and accepted by the City as being in accord and conformity with all ordinances, City plans and regulations of the City of St. Louis Park and the laws of the State of Minnesota, provided, however. that this approval is made subject to Certification by the City Clerk as provided for in Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code. r 1 to !► 1 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Resolution in the office of the Register of Deeds and Registrar of Titles for their use as required by M.S.A. 471.29. A 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to supply a certified copy of this Resolution to the above -reamed owners and subdividers, who are the applicants herein. 4. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute all contracts required herein, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to execute the certificate of approval on behalf of the City Council upon the said plat when all of the conditions set forth in paragraph No. 1 above and Section 14-303(3)(e) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code have been fulfilled. 5. Such execution of the certificate upon said plat by the City Clerk, as required under Section 14-303(3)(e) shall be conclusive showing of proper compliance therewith by the subdivider and City officials charged with duties above described and.shall entitle such plat to be placed of record forthwith without further formality.
