HomeMy WebLinkAbout5508 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1976/04/19APRIL 19, 1976 RESOLUTION NOe 3 5t 8 RESOLUTION REPEALING A PORTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 5459 AUTHORIZING NO PARKING SIGNS ON SHELARD PARK BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that a traffic analysis, having indicated that traffic con- trol signs are not warranted, the Director of Public Works is authorized and directed to remove the following signs: No parking signs on the east side of Ford Road from Highway 12 frontage road to a point 400 feet north. Adopted by the City Council April 19, 1976 Mayor Attest: City Clerk Reviewed for administration: Approved as to form and legality: City Manager City Attorney 1 Also that part of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 20, Township 117, Range 21, described as sommencing at the southwest corner of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter; thence north along the west line of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter a distance of 262.50 feet; thence east parallel with the south line of said southwest quarter of the morthwest quarter a distance of 67.40 feet; thence north parallel with the west line of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter a distance of 17.00 feet; thence northerly along a tangential curve to the right, with a radius of 1206.94 feet, a distance of 136.57 feet; thence northeasterly along a compound curve, with a radius of 491.67 feet, a distance of 176.43 feet to the actual point of beginning; thence continuing northeasterly along said compound curve a distance of 199.43 feet; thence northeasterly along a compound curve, with a radius of 547.71 feet, a distance of 147.66 feet; thence south 26 degrees, 41 minutes, 47 seconds east (assuming the west line of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter as bearing north and south) to the center line of Powell Road; thence southwesterly and southerly along the center line of Powell Road to an intersection with a line bearing south 64 degrees, 51 minutes, 46 seconds east (assuming the west line of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter as bearing north and south) from the actual point of beginning; thence north 64 degrees, 51 minutes, 46 seconds west to the actual point of beginning, according to the government survey thereof. That part of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 20, Township 117, Range 21, described as commencing at the southwest corner of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter; thence north along the west line of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter a distance of 262.5 feet; thence east parallel with the south lige of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter a distance of 67.4 feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract of land to be described; thence north parallel with the west line of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter a distance of 17 feet; thence northerly along a tangential curve to the right with a radius of 1206.94 feet, a distance of 136.57 feet; thence northeasterly along a compound curve, with a radius of 491.67 feet; a distance of 176.43 feet; thence south 64 degrees 51 minutes 46 seconds east (assuming the west line of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter as bearing north and south) to the center line of Powell Road; thence southwesterly and southerly along said center line of Powell Road to an intersection with a line drawn east from the actual point of beginning and parallel with the south line of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter; thence west along said parallel line to the actual point of beginning, according to the government survey thereof. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park: 1. That said plat of Morse Industrial Subdivision is hereby approved and accepted by the City as being in accord and conformity with all ordinances, City plans and regulations of the City of St. Louis Park and the laws of the State of Minnesota, provided, however, that this approval is made subject to the approving opinion of the City Attorney as to the title and form and execution of the plat, and execution of a contract for any improvements remaining to be con- structed by the subdivider, and bond thereunder, or the certificate of the City Treasurer certifying to a cash deposit in the amount required by the City Council as the estimated cost of improvements to be provided by the subdivider, and if such be the case, the City Engineer's certificate that the remaining improvements required of the subdivider have been completely and properly installed, all as required by the provisions of Section 6:303-C-6, of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code entitled "Certification by City Clerk." -2-
