HomeMy WebLinkAbout5507 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1976/04/19RESOLUTION NO. 55°7 RESOLUTION GIVING APPROVAL FOR FINAL PLAT OF MORSE INDUSTRIAL SUBDIVISION APRIL 19, 1976 WHEREAS, Morse Properties, the owner and subdivider of the land proposed to be platted as Morse Industrial Subdivision, has submitted its application for approval of final plat of said subdivision in the manner required for platting of land under the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, and all proceedings have been duly had thereunder, and WHEREAS, said plat is in all respects consistent with the City Plan and the regulations and requirements of the Laws of the State of Minnesota and the ordinances of the City of St. Louis Park, and WHEREAS, said plat is situate upon the following described lands in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: That part of the southwest Quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 20, Township 117, Range 21, described as commencing at the southwest corner of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter; thence north along the west line of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter a distance of 262.50 feet; thence east parallel with the south line of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter a distance of 67.40 feet; thence north parallel with the west line of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter a distance of 17.00 feet; thence northerly along a tangential curve to the right, with a radius of 1206.94 feet, a distance of 136.57 feet; thence northeasterly along a compound curve with a radius of 491.67 feet, a distance of 375.86 feet; thence northeasterly along a compound curve, with a radius of 547.71 feet, a distance of 147.66 feet to the actual point of beginning; thence north 25 degrees, 23 minutes west (assuming the west line of said southwest quarter of the north- west quarter as bearing north and south) 8.00 feet to the southeasterly right of way lice of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company; thence north 64 degrees, 37 minutes east along said southeasterly right of way line, 323.90 feet to a point thereon 734.45 feet northeasterly from its intersection with the west line of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter; thence south 50 degrees, 05 minutes east, 153.25 feet; thence south 28 degrees, 25 minutes west, 51.37 feet; thence southwesterly along a tangential curve to the left, with a radius of 488.34 feet, to the center line of Powell Road; thence westerly and southwesterly along the center line of Powell Road to an intersection with a line bearing south 26 degrees, 41 minutes, 47 seconds east from the actual point of beginning; thence north 26 degrees, 41 minutes, 47 seconds west to the actual point of beginning, according to the Government Survey thereof. a' 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Resolution in the office of the Register of Deeds and Registrar of Titles for their use as required by M.S.A. 471.29. 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to supply a certified copy of this Resolution to the above-named owner and subdivider, who is the applicant herein. 4. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute all contracts required herein, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to execute the certificate of approval on behalf of the City Council upon the said plat when all of the conditions set forth in paragraph No. 1 above and Section 6:303-C-6 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code have been fulfilled. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such execution of the certificate upon said plat by the City Clerk, as required under Section 6:303-C-6, shall be conclusive showing of proper compliance therewith by the subdivider and City officials charged with duties above described and shall entitle such plat to be placed of record forthwith without further formality.
