HomeMy WebLinkAbout5504 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1976/04/19RESOLUTION NO. 5504 A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT UNDER SECTION 6:122.17 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT A CLASS I RESTAURANT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE B-2 GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT AT 6451 WAYZATA BOULEVARD APRIL 19, 1976 Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Steak and Ale of Minneapolis, Inc., has made application to the City Council for a special permit under Section 6:122.17 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a Class I Restaurant in the B-2 General Business District located at 6451 Wayzata Boulevard and having the following legal description: Lot 3, Block 1, Lou Park Addition. 2. The City Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the Planning Commission (Case No. 75 -73 -SP) and the effect of the proposed use on the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, the effect on values of properties in the surrounding area and the effect of the use on the Comprehensive Plan. 3. The Council has determined that the proposed use will not be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of the community nor will it cause serious traffic congestion nor hazards, nor will it seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and the proposed use is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan. Conclusion The special permit to permit a Class I Restaurant at the location described is granted based on the findings set forth above and subject to the following conditions: 1. The site shall be developed, used and maintained in accordance with Exhibit A, Site Plan; Exhibit B, Grading Plan; Exhibit C, Landscape Plan; Exhibit D, Plaza Detail; Exhibit E, First Floor Plan; Exhibit F, Second Floor Plan; Exhibit G, Elevation Plan, page 1; Exhibit H, Elevation Plan,page 2; Exhibit I, Elevation Plan, page 3; Exhibit J, Elevation Plan, page 4; and Exhibit K, Elevation Plan, page 5. 2. The building shall be equipped with automatic fire extinguishing systems (sprinklers). 3. All of the improvements including buildings, curbing, paving, landscaping and parking lot striping shall be completed by June 1, 1977. Adopted by the City Council April 19, 1976.
