RESOLUTION NO. 54191
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ST. LOUIS PARK,
MINNESOTA, AMENDING THE CONTINUANCE OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, OAK PARK VILLAGE, MN A-8,
FROM JULY 1, 1974, UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 1974
WHEREAS, the Oak Park Village Neighborhood Development Program renewal
project is being closed out with the Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment (hereafter "HUD"), and
WHEREAS, closing out the project requires that all Item 1 project
improvements be completed or under contract prior to close out, and
WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis Park (hereafter "City") is preparing
final plans for all remaining incomplete project improvements, but such
plans will not be completed nor will bids be approved prior to the an-
ticipated close out date of April 15, 1976, and
WHEREAS, close out can occur if said incomplete projects are deleted
from the Neighborhood Development Program and an agreement requiring their
completion is executed by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of
St. Louis Park, Minnesota (hereafter "Authority"), and the City, and
WHEREAS, the following Item 1 project improvements have not been
completed:
1. Street excavation and backfill $50,000
2. Public owned utility facilities
(a) Water line on Oak Park
Village Lane 50,000

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis
Park that all terms and provisions of the previously approved Neighborhood
Development Program and the provisions of previously approved Resolution No. 5075
are hereby continued in force, except that Item 1 project improvements consisting
of: (1) street excavation and backfill $50,000; and (2) Public owned utility
facilities (water line on Oak Park Village Lane) $50,000, are hereby deleted from
said program, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby approves the
agreement between the Authority and the City for the completion of such
project improvements in order to allow close out of the project with HUD,
and authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to enter into such agreement.
