RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POLICY FOR
PREPARATION AND CORRECTION AND/OR
APPROVAL OF CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that all minutes of all regular
and special meetings of the Council shall be prepared and submitted
according to the following policy:
(1) The minutes of each meeting shall be prepared by the
secretary of the Council or a designated acting secretary as recorded
and copies submitted to the City Council for action as soon as possible
following said meeting;
(2) No corrections, additions or deletions shall be made to the
minutes prepared by the secretary or the designated acting secretary,
either prior to or following their submission to the City Council, unless
such corrections, additions, or deletions shall be authorized by action
of the Council; and
(3) No items or statements not presented at a regular or
special meeting of the City Council shall be incorporated in the minutes
of said meeting unless they are subsequently authorized and approved by
the Council.
