HomeMy WebLinkAbout5373 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1975/10/06OCTOBER 6, 1975 8G RESOLUTION NO. 3 r 3 RESOLUTION SETTING ANNUAL SERVICE CHARGE FOR COLLECTION OF GARBAGE AND REFUSE FROM DWELLINGS AND LEVYING ASSESSMENT OF COSTS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park by Section 1:1056 of the Ordinance Code has provided for the setting of the annual service charge for collection of garbage and refuse from dwellings by the City and levying assessments for the cost thereof, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park has determined that the annual service charge for garbage and refuse collection service for each family dwelling unit for the year ending September 1, 1976 be, and the same hereby is the sum of $42.00 for the year, and WHEREAS, the City Clerk has prepared an assessment roll setting forth an assessment against each tract or parcel of land receiving garbage and refuse collection services of the City, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by„,the-City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that said assessment ro1.14 is hereby adopted and:approved, and there is hereby levied and assessed against each and every tract of land described therein an assessment in the amounts respectively therein set forth, which assessments are hereby determined to be the service charge for garbage and refuse collection as to said respective premises.,,, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be'hereby authorized to deliver said assessment roll to the Auditor of Hennepin County\for collection of the assessment therein set forth in like manner as state, county and other taxes are collected and payment thereof enforced.
