HomeMy WebLinkAbout5356 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1975/09/10RESOLUTION NO. 5356 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED, ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT, AND CALLING PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SPECIAL ASSESSMENT IMPROVEMENT NOS. 72-15, 73-08, 74-44 AND 74747 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park as follows: 1. Contracts have been let for the improvements designated in this resolution and the City Manager has filed his certificate of the total epense of the improvements in the amount shown below. 2. The total cost of the improvements to be specially assessed, the amount of the total expense the city will pay, other than the amount, if any, which the - city will pay as a property owner, and the amount to be assessed, are as follows: Imp. No., Nature and Location 72-15, Paving, Curb and Gutter, and Driveway Approaches, Toledo Ave. from Minnetonka Blvd. to 800 feet south; Raleigh and Salem Avenues from Minnetonka Blvd. to Highway #7 and West 31st Street from Toledo Avenue to Salem Avenue Project Total Cost Amount Amount to Paid by City Be Assessed $123,418.50 $ 32,241.20 $ 91,177.30 73-08, Paving, Curb and Gutter, Driveway Approaches and Sidewalk Replacements, Texas Avenue from Cedar Lake Road to Trunk Highway #12 74-44, Paving, Curb and Gutter, and Driveway Approaches, Brunswick Avenue from Lake Street to the railroad tracks 263,597.45 144,493.15 119,104.30 10,443.91 8,494.75 1,949.16 505.78 1,517.35 74-47, Sidewalks, West side of 1,517.35 Raleigh Avenue from Minnetonka Blvd. south to the existing sidewalk 3. The City Clerk with the assistance of the City Engineer and City Assessor shall calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for these improvements against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law. A copy of such proposed assessment roll shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 4. A public hearing shall be held on these improvements on October 6, 1975 at 8:00 p.m. in the City Hall to pass upon the proposed assessment and to hear any objections to it.
