HomeMy WebLinkAbout5353 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1975/09/02I • SEPTEMBER 2, 1975 9H RESOLUTION NO. 5353 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE MUNICIPAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK IN ACCORDANCE WITH MINNESOTA STATUTES 462.355 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of St. Louis Park has prepared and adopted amendments to the Comprehensive City Plan for the City of St. Louis Park in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 462.351 et seq., and pursuant to due notice as required thereunder has held a public hearing to consider said Plan, and WHEREAS, said Plan contains guides to private persons and public agencies to plan their activities in harmony with the plans of the City of St. Louis Park, and therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the Comprehensive Municipal Plan as adopted by the Planning Commission on May 15, 1968, and as amended thereafter, and by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park on January 12, 1970, and as amended thereafter, be further amended by including in the Residential section of the Comprehensive Municipal Plan text the following land use categories: Categories Units Per Acre Typical Dwelling Form Low 5 Single Family Medium 5-11 Cluster Housing, Townhouses, some Single Family, and Duplex High 11-50 Apartments, although some Townhouses or Cluster Housing may be appropriate, and by amending the Comprehensive Municipal Plan map in the following location: Change the Green Hills area bounded by West 36th Street, County Road 18, Highway 7, and the western municipal boundary from Low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential (5-11 dwelling units per acre of land) and including open space elements and text for the Comprehensive Plan Green Hills Area, in accordance with the Planning Department report, Case No. 69-61-CP/69-85-CP, dated June 13, 1975. 1 l BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Comprehensive Municipal Plan of the City of St. Louis Park hereby amended is adopted as the Comprehensive Municipal Plan of the City of St. Louis Park.
