RESOLUTION NO. 4903
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED, ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT, AND CALLING
PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
IMPROVEMENT NOS. 66-17B AND 67-39,
STORM SEWERS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park as
follows:
1. Contracts have been let for the improvements designated in this
resolution and the City Manager has filed his certificate of the total
expense of the improvements in the amount shown below.
2. The total cost of the improvements to be specially assessed, the
amount of the total expense the city will pay, other than the amount, if
any, which the city will pay as a property owner, and the amount to be
assessed, are as follows:

AND 2, WESTDALE; all of the property located
in REGISTERED LAND SURVEY #528; all of the
property abutting INDEPENDENCE AVENUE from
1800 and 1811 Independence Avenue, including
same, north to 16th Street; all of the property
abutting HILLSBORO AVENUE from 1810 and 1811
Hillsboro Avenue, including same, north to 16th
Street; all of the property abutting FAIRWAY LANE;
all of the property abutting FLAG AVENUE from 1810
and 1811 Flag Avenue, including same, north to
intersection with Westwood 2nd Addition; all of
the property on 18TH STREET, from Flag Avenue to
Hillsboro Avenue; all of the properties abutting
WESTMORELAND LANE from Lot 6, Block 2, and Lot 3,
Block 1, including same, to West Franklin Avenue.

3. The city clerk with the assistance of the city engineer and
city assessor shall calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed
for these improvements against every assessable lot, piece or parcel
of land without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law. A
copy of such proposed assessment roll shall be filed in the office
of the city clerk for public inspection.
4. A public hearing shall be held on these improvements on
September 24, 1973 at 8:00 p.m. in the City Hall to pass upon the
proposed assessment and to hear any objections to it. The clerk shall
give notice of this hearing as required by lay.
