RESOLUTION N0. 4885
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT, ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PLANS, AND AUTH R IZING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS, OR CHANGE ORDER
IMP. NO. 72-07C, PAVING, CURB AND GUTTER
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park as
follows:
1. Pursuant to Council direction a preliminary report has been prepared
for the improvement designated in this Resolution. A notice of hearing was
mailed on August 8, 1973 and published in the official city newspaper, the
St. Louis Park Sun, on August 9, 1973 and August 16, 1973 as required by
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and as ordered by Council Resolution 4880.
2. A public hearing having been held on this date and opportunity
having been given at the hearing to all persons to make known their views on
the improvement, and the Council being fully advised of the pertinent facts,
the improvement is ordered to be constructed, in accordance with the
description in the notice of hearing.
3. The Director of Public Works shall prepare plans and specifications
for the making of the improvement.
4. The City Manager is hereby authorized to advertise for bids or
to negotiate a change order to a contract in accordance with directives
established by the City Council.
5. Any such negotiated change order with costs shall be approved
by the City Council prior to its execution by the City Manager.
