Home My WebLink About4875 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1973/07/30ORIGINAL JULY 30, 1973 8B RESOLUTION NO.4 O 7 5 RESOLUTION CONCURRING WITH REDESIGNATION OF THE ROUTE OF CSAH 18 WHEREAS, the County of Hennepin revoked the portion of present County State Aid Highway 18 from a point approximately 600 feet south of the east quarter corner of Section 25, Township 117 north, Range 22 west along the corporate limits of the City of Hopkins and the Village of Edina to the intersection of Minnetonka Boulevard, County State Aid Highway 5 and "E" Street in the City of Minnetonka as described within the Commissioner of Highways Order No. 27368 dated April 15, 1958, and this roadway was redesignated as County Road 18, and WHEREAS, the County of Hennepin designated the new alignment as County State Aid Highway 18 commencing at a point approximately 600 feet south of the east quarter corner of Section 25, Township 117 north, Range 22 west along the corporate limits of the City of Hopkins and the Village of Edina; thence northwesterly to a point approximately 64 feet west and 900 feet south of the northeast corner of Section 25, Township 117 north, Range 22 west in the City of Hopkins; thence north to a point approximately 900 feet north of the southeast corner of Section 24, Township 117 north, Range 22 west in the City of Hopkins; thence northeasterly to a point approximately 1100 feet east and 900 feet north of the southwest corner of Section 18, Township 117 north, Range 21 west in the City of St. Louis Park; thence northwesterly to a point approximately 1200 feet north of the west quarter corner of Section 18, Township 117 north, Range 21 west along the corporate limits of the City of Minnetonka and the City of St. Louis Park; thence north to a point on Minnetonka Boulevard, County State Aid Highway 5, approximately 870 feet south of the northeast corner of Section 13, Township 117 north, Range 22 west and there terminating the new designation, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the City concurs with the actions of the Hennepin County Board in redesignating the route of CSAH 18.
