LOUIS PARK ZONING ORDINANCE FOR A MOTOR FUEL STATION WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Council by Erickson Petroleum Corporation for permit under Section 6:111.3(1) of the St. Louis Park Zoning Ordinance for the following purpose: to permit motor fuel station reactivation and expanded retail store at the following location, to -wit: 6607 Excelsior Boulevard; Lot 2, Brookside Subdivision No. 2, except the following: Commencing on the northeast corner of said lot; thence southerly along the easterly line of said lot 72 feet; thence westerly parallel to the southerly line of said lot 16.5 feet; thence parallel to the east line of said lot to the northerly line thereof; thence easterly along the northerly line of said lot to beginning; Lots 3 and 4, Brookside Subdivision No. 2. WHEREAS, the Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the Planning Commission (Case No. 73 -22 -SP) and the effect of the proposed use on the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, including parking facilities on adjacent streets, and the effect on values of properties in the surrounding area, and the effect of the proposed use on the Comprehensive Plan, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that it is hereby determined that the said proposed use will not be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of the community nor will it cause serious traffic congestion, nor hazards, nor will it seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and the same is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of this ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to the applicant for the purpose above set forth , subject, however to the following conditions: 1. The site be developed, used, and maintained in accordance with Exhibit "A", site plan; Exhibit "B", Elevation Plan; and Exhibit "C", Sign Plan, as modified by the Planning Department on 5/11/73. 2. That the free standing sign be located not less than 20 feet from the easterly right of way line of Alabama Avenue, and not less than 15 feet from the southerly right of way line of Excelsior Boulevard. 3. That all improvements, including buildings, paving, curbing, striping, landscaping, lighting, and signing be completed by October 1, 1974. Adopted by the City 'ou cil Ju- lo, 1973.
