RESOLUTION NO. S
RESOLUTION REARRANGING AND RE-ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES OF
THE VOTING PRECINCTS OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARR
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the voting precincts in the various Wards
of the City of St. Louis Park and has determined that the precincts require modification
or re-establishing due to certain changes in Ward boundaries and population balance, and
WHEREAS, N.S.A. Section 203.06 provides that the Council of each municipality
shall prescribe by Resolution the boundaries of the precincts and the number of voters
therein, and may rearrange the precincts from time to time, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the following
precinct boundaries are hereby rearranged and prescribed as follows:
WARD I
PRECINCT NO. 1: Precinct No. 1 is the area bounded on the west by State
Highway No. 100; thence northerly on State Highway No. 100 to the Main
Line of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way; thence easterly
on the said Railroad right -of way to the east City limits; thence south
on the east City limits to West 28th Street; thence west on West 28th
Street to Monterey Parkway; thence southwesterly on Monterey Parkway to
West 29th Street; thence west on West 29th Street to State Highway No.100.
PRECINCT NO. 2: Precinct No. 2 is the area bounded on the north by the
Main Line of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way; thence
easterly on the said Railroad right-of-way to Dakota Avenue extended;
thence south on Dakota Avenue and the extension thereof to Minnetonka
Boulevard; thence west on Minnetonka Boulevard to Louisiana Avenue;
thence north on Louisiana Avenue to the Main Line of the Burlington
Northern Railroad right-of-way.
PRECINCT NO. 3: Precinct No. 3 is the area bounded on the north by
Minnetonka Boulevard; thence east on Minnetonka Boulevard to the center
line of Vernon Avenue; thence north on the center line of Vernon Avenue
to the juncture of Vernon Avenue and West 28th Street; thence east on
West 28th Street to State Highway No. 100; thence south on State Highway
No. 100 to the Chicago, IIilwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad right-
of-way; thence westerly on said Railroad right-of-way to Dakota Avenue;
thence north on Dakota Avenue to Minnetonka Boulevard.
PRECINCT NO. 4: Precinct No. 4 is the area bounded on the west by
Dakota Avenue; thence north on Dakota Avenue to West 27th Street; thence
east on i•lest 27th Street to State Highway No. 100; thence south on State
Highway No. 100 to West 28th Street; thence west on West 28th Street to
the center line of Vernon Avenue; thence south on the center line of
Vernon Avenue to Minnetonka Boulevard; thence west on Minnetonka
Boulevard to Dakota Avenue.

PRECINCT NO. 5: Precinct No. 5 is the area bounded on the south by West
27th Street; thence west on West 27th Street to Dakota Avenue; thence
north on Dakota Avenue and Dakota Avenue extended to the Minneapolis,
Northfield and Southern Railroad right-of-way; thence northerly on said
Railroad right-of-way to the north City limits; thence east on the north
City limits to the east City limits; thence south on the east City limits
to the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way; thence westerly on said
Railroad right-of-way to State Highway No. 100; thence southerly on State
Highway No. 100 to West 27th Street.
WARD II
PRECINCT NO. 1: Precinct No. 1 is the area bounded on the north by the
Main Line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad
right-of-way; on the east by the east City limits; on the south by West 40th
Street; thence west on West 40th Street to Natchez Avenue; thence North
on Natchez Avenue to Excelsior Boulevard; thence westerly on Excelsior
Boulevard to State Highway No. 100; thence north on State Highway
No. 100 to the Main Line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific
Railroad right-of-way.
PRECINCT NO. 2: Precinct No. 2 is the area bounded on the west by State
Highway No. 100;on the north by Excelsior Boulevard; thence northeasterly
on Excelsior Boulevard to Natchez Avenue; thence southerly on Natchez
Avenue and the east City limits to the south City limits; thence west
on the south City limits to State Highway No. 100.
PRECINCT NO. 3: Precinct No. 3 is the area bounded on the south by the
south City limits; on the west by the west City limits; on the north by
Excelsior Boulevard and on the east by State Highway No. 100.
PRECINCT NO. 4: Precinct No. 4 is the area bounded on the north by the
Main Line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad
right-of-way; on the east by State Highway No. 100; on the south by
Excelsior Boulevard and on the west by the west City limits.
PRECINCT NO. 5: Precinct No. 5 is the area bounded on the south by the
Main Line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad
right-of-way; on the east by the east City limits to test 28th Street;
thence west on West 28th Street to Monterey Parkway; thence southwesterly
on Monterey Parkway to West 29th Street; thence west on West 29th Street
to State Highway No. 100; thence south on State Highway No. 100 to the
Main Line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad
right-of-way.

PRECINCT NO. 1: Precinct No.1 isthe area bounded on the north by West
34th Street; thence east on West 34th Street and the extension therof to
Gorham Avenue; thence southeasterly on Gorham Avenue and Hampshire Avenue
and the extension therof to the Main Line of the Chicago, Milwaukee,
St. Paul and Pacific Railroad right-of-way; thence southwesterly on the

Said Railroad right-of-way to the west City limits at Texas Avenue extended;
thence north on Texas Avenue and the extension thereof to Division Street;
thence west on Division Street and the extension thereof to the Hopkins
Branch of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way; thence northerly
on the said Railroad right-of-way to West 34th Street.
PRECINCT NO. 2: Precinct No. 2 is the area bounded on the north by
Minnetonka Boulevard; thence east on Minnetonka Boulevard to Dakota Avenue;
thence south on Dakota Avenue to the Main Line of the Chicago, Milwaukee,
St. Paul and Pacific Railroad right-of-way; thence westerly on the said
Railroad right-of-way to the extension of Hampshire Avenue; thence north-
erly on Hampshire Avenue and the extension thereof and Gorham Avenue to
the extension of [lest 34th Street; thence west on West 34th Street and
the extension thereof to Rhode Island Avenue; thence north on Rhode Island
Avenue to Minnetonka Boulevard.
PRECINCT NO. 3: Precinct No. 3 is the area bounded on the west by the
west City limits; thence north on the west City limits to the Main Line
of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way; thence northeasterly
on the said Railroad right-of-way to the Hopkins Branch of the Burlington
Northern Railroad right-of-way; thence southwesterly on the said Railroad
right-of-way to the south City limits; thence west on the south City limits
to the west City limits.
PRECINCT NO. 4: Precinct No. 4 is the area bounded on the south by
Minnetonka Boulevard; thence west on Minnetonka Boulevard to Texas Avenue;
thence north on Texas Avenue to West 28th Street; thence west on West 28th
Street to the Hopkins Branch of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-
of-way; thence northeasterly on the said Railroad right-of-way to the Main
Line of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way; thence easterly on
the said Railroad right-of-way to Louisiana Avenue; thence south on
Louisiana Avenue to Minnetonka Boulevard.
PRECINCT NO. 5: Precinct No. 5 is the area bounded on the south by West
34th Street; thence west on West 34th Street to the Hopkins Branch of
the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way; thence northeasterly on
the said Railroad right-of-way to West 28th Street; thence east on West
28th Street to Texas Avenue; thence south on Texas Avenue to Minnetonka
Boulevard; thence east on Minnetonka Boulevard to Rhode Island Avenue;
thence south on Rhode Island Avenue to West 34th Street.
WARD IV
PRECINCT NO. 1: Precinct No. 1 is the area bounded on the west by the
west City limits; thence south on the west City limits to the Main Line
of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way; thence easterly on the
said Railroad right-of-way to its intersection with the East-West quarter -
quarter line in the south half (s 1/2) of Section 7, Township 117,
Range 21; thence west on said quarter -quarter line to its intersection
with the center line of Flag Avenue extended; thence north on Flag Avenue
and extension thereof to the north City limits; thence west on the north
City limits to the west City limits.

PRECINCT NO. 2: Precinct No. 2 is the area bounded on the north by the
south boundary line of the Westwood Estates 2nd Addition; thence east
to the west boundary line of the Westwood Hills Grove Addition; thence
south on the west boundary line of the Westwood Hills Drove Addition to
the south boundary line of the Westwood Hills Grove Addition; thence
east on the south boundary line of the Westwood Hills Grove Addition to
Texas Avenue; thence south on Texas Avenue to Cedar Lake Road; thence
west on Cedar Lake Road to Virginia Avenue; thence south on Virginia
Avenue to the Ilain Line of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-
way; thence west on said Railroad right-of-way to the intersection with
the East-West quarter -quarter line of the southwest quarter of Section 7,
Township 117, Range 21, thence west on the East-West quarter -quarter
line of the southwest quarter of Section 7, Township 117, Range 21 to
Flag Avenue and extensions thereof, thence North on Flag Avenue and
extensions thereof to the south boundary line of the Westwood Estates
2nd Addition.
PRECINCT P10. 3: Precinct Pio. 3 is the area bounded on the north by
Franklin Avenue; thence east on Franklin Avenue to Louisiana Avenue;
thence south on Louisiana Avenue to the Wain Line of the Burlington Northern
Railroad right-of-way; thence west on said Railroad right-of-way to
Virginia Avenue; thence north on Virginia Avenue to Cedar Lake Road;
thence east on Cedar Lake Road to Texas Avenue; thence north on Texas
Avenue to the south boundary line of Westwood Hills Grove Addition; thence
west on the south boundary line of Westwood Hills Grove Addition to the
west boundary line of Westwood hills Grove Addition; thence north on the
west boundary line of the Westwood Hills Grove Addition to Franklin
Avenue.
PRECINCT 110. 4: Precinct No. 4 is the area bounded on the north by the
north City limits; thence east on the north City limits to Louisiana
Avenue; thence south on Louisiana Avenue to Franklin Avenue; thence west
on Franklin Avenue to the west boundary line of Westwood Hills Grove
Addition; thence south on the west boundary line of Westwood Hills Grove
Addition, to the south boundary line of the Westwood Estates 2nd Addition;
thence west on the south boundary line of the Westwood Estates 2nd Addition
to the extension of Flage Avenue; thence north on the extension of Flag
Avenue to the north City limits.
PRECINCT P10. 5: Precinct No. 5 is the area bounded on the north by the
north City limits; thence east on the north City limits to the ilinneapolis,
Northfield and Southern Railroad right-of-way; thence southerly on the said
Railroad right-of-way to the Main Line of the Burlington Northern Railroad
right-of-way; thence southwesterly on the said Railroad right-of-way to
Louisiana Avenue; thence north on Louisiana Avenue to the north Cit limits.
