RESOLUTION NO. 4621
RESOLUTION URGING THE CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS TO
CONSIDER IMPACT OF CONSTRUCTION OF DOMED
STADIUM ON TRAFFIC THROUGH WESTERN SUBURBS
WHEREAS, the City of Minneapolis is evaluating the construction
of a domed stadium, and
WHEREAS, the stadium would result in traffic using the Highway 12
Corridor, and
WHEREAS, said traffic would have an effect on the neighborhoods
near Highway 12; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of St. Louis Park does urge
the City of Minneapolis to enlist the cooperation of the
Metropolitan Council, Metropolitan Transit Commission and the
State Highway Department in evaluating the impact of this traffic
on the western suburbs and the Highway 12 Corridor.
