HomeMy WebLinkAbout4422 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1971/12/20Original RESOLUTION NO. 4422 RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT UNDER SECTION 6:122.6 AND 6:122.15 OF THE ST. LOUIS PARK ZONING ORDINANCE FOR CAR WASH AND MOTOR FUEL STATION WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Council by Union Oil Company for permit under Sections 6:122.6 and 6:122.15 of the St. Louis Park Zoning Ordinance for the following purpose: to permit a car wash and motor fuel station at the following location, to -wit: Lot 1, Block 1, Pure's Knollwood Addition WHEREAS, The Council has considered the advice and recommendation of the Planning Commission (Case No. 71-58-S.P) and the effect of the proposed use on the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, including parking facilities on adjacent streets, and the effect on values of properties in the surrounding area, and the effect of the proposed use on the Comprehensive Plan, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that it is hereby determined that the said proposed use will not be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of the community nor will it cause serious traffic congestion, nor hazards, nor will it seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and the same is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of this ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to the applicant for the purpose above set forth, subject, however, to the following conditions: 1. The site be developed and maintained in accordance with Exhibit "A", Site Plan; E::hibit "B", Landscape, parking and drainage plan as modified by Planning Department on November 11, 1971; Exhibit "C", Elevation Plan; Exhibit "D", Sign Flan; and Exhibit "E", Rendering; Exhibit "F", Lighting Style Plan; except as modified below. a. Ingress and egress shall be provided as shown on the exhibits as modified by the Planning Department on November 11, 1971. b. There shall be no rotating or flashing signs. c. Signs are limited to the three signs included on the exhibits. 2. The land between the lot lines and Target Road and Aquila Avenue shall be landscaped in accordance with the Pure Knollwood Addition subdivision contract and shall be completed by November 1, 1972. 3. No vapor cloud shall extend beyond any lot lines of the subject property, nor shall there be any undue vapor clouds obscuring the view or adversely affecting the use of the adjacent property. 4. All buildings, structures, landscaping, lighting, curbing, sufacing, signs and any other features shown on Exhibits "A" through "F" shall be completed by November 1, 1972.
