RESOLUTION NO. 4364
A RESOLUTION SETTING MINIMUM TAX LEVY FOR SUPPORT
OF THE ST. LOUIS PARK FIRE RELIEF ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, "Police and Firemen's Relief Associations Guidelines Act
of 1969" provides minimum tax levies for support of Fire and Police
pension funds, and
WHEREAS, said act provides that the minimum obligation may, by
vote of the governing body of the City, be reduced to the amount
levied in the preceding year for purpose of the association plus
twenty percent of the difference between that levy and the amount of
the minimum obligation determined before authorized reduction,
therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park
that the minimum levy for 1972 for the St. Louis Park Fire Relief
Association is hereby determined to be $44,740, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the
County Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota as provided by law.
