the Council initially), shall be withheld by the City Manager from
the agenda until such reports are available from either the City
Manager or the appropriate advisory commission, at which time both
the petition and the related report shall be placed on the agenda
for the succeeding Council meeting - and to provide further that a
list of such petitions so withheld from each agenda showing date re-
ceived and information relative to source and nature of required re-
port, shall be transmitted to the Council along with each agenda -
and to provide further that the City Manager shall appropriately
advise each petitioner that his petition is being held for later
submission to the Council along with the required report, and the
date of the Council meeting at which the petition and report will
be considered by the Council - and to still further provide that
at the second Council meeting in each month, the City Manager shall
submit to the Council a cumulative listing of petitions awaiting
report.

AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR CONVEYANCE OF
TAX -FORFEITED LAND ,
WHEREAS, Independent School District No. 283 of Hennepin County is
about to reconvey to the State Lots 1 through 30 inclusive, and Lots 33 through
46 inclusive, Block 308, Rearrangement of St. Louis Park, which lots have here-
tofore been conveyed to said'School District by the, State of Minnesota as tax -
forfeited lands, and
WHEREAS, said lands are suitable and needed by the City for use for
public park purposes, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park
that the Mayor and City Manager be hereby authorized to execute an applica-
tion to the Board of County Commissioners and the State Tax Commissioner for
conveyance of said lots to the City of St. Louis Park as tax -forfeited lands
for use by the City for public park purposes.
