AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 501 GRANTING ZONING
VARIANCE AND SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE WAIVER
WHEREAS, application for Variance to Platting regulations has been
filed with the City -Council by Ray M. Clark for subdivision of Lot 12, Block
2, Brookside, and the Planning Commission has recommended granting of the re-
quest and it appears to the Council that the applicant would be deprived of
practical use of his property if required to conform to the minimum lot area
requirements of the zoning ordinance and granting of the request will be in
harmony with the intent and purpose of the zoning ordinance and that no pur-
pose will be served by requiring compliance with the procedures of the Sub-
division Ordinance, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to Ray M. Clark to sub-
divide Lot 12, Block 2, Brookside into three tracts, the first being the west
65 feet, the second being the east 75 feet of the west 110 feet, and the third
the east 20 feet of said Lot 12, the latter to be deemed part of the adjoining
lot and not a separate parcel, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED'that procedural requirements of the Subdivision
Ordinance be waived.

Resolution No. 517 Adopted December 9, 1957
SETTING HEARING ON PROPOSED BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended to the City Council that
the existing bridge on Minnetonka Boulevard over the right-of-way of the
Great Northern Railway be reconstructed as a joint project with the County of
Hennepin and the Great Northern Railway, and the County Highway Engineer has
determined that same is feasible and has estimated the cost of said project is
$115,000.00 and that allocation of said cost has been informally proposed on
the basis of 25% thereof to be borne by the City of St. Louis Park, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the Clerk be directed to pub-
lish notice of hearing, on proposed reconstruction of said bridge, to be held
at the City Council meeting December 23, 1957, said notice to designate the area
proposed to be assessed as that part of the City bounded as follows: On the
north by -Cedar Lake Road; on the west by the west boundary of the City; on the
east by State Highway No. 100 and on the south by State Highway No. 7.
