Resolution No. 500 Adopted November 11, 1957
AUTHORIZING RELEASE OF DRAINAGE EASEMENT
AND ACCEPTANCE OF STORM SEWER EASEMENT
WHEREAS, under date of March 1), 1951, Jerome H. Segall and Ethlyn
J. Segall conveyed to the Village of St. Louis Park a drainage easement over
Lots u and 12, Minikanda Park, and,
WHEREAS, the said Jerome H. Segall has requested release of said
drainage easement by the City in exchange for deed from said Jerone H. Segall
and Ethlyn J. Segall to the City of an easement for storm sewer and other
utility purposes across the North 18.75 feet of said Lot 12, where an easement
already exists for roadway purposes, and it appears desirable to the City
Council that said request be granted in order that said Lot 12 may be useful
for residential purposes, and the same has been recommended by the City Engin-
eer, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the Mayor and City Manager
be authorized to execute an agreement in behalf of the City, which has been
prepared by the City Attorney, providing for release of the drainage easement
created by said deed of March 14, 1951, and providing for conveyance to the
City of easement for storm sewer and other utility purposes across the
North 18.75 feet of said Lot 12.

RESOLUTION GRANTING ZONING VARIANCE
AND_SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE WAIVER
WHEREAS, application for Variance to Platting regulations has been
filed with the City Council by Ray M. Clark for subdivision of Lot 12, Block
2, Brookside, and the Planning Commission has recommended granting of the
request and it appears to the Council that the applicant would be deprived of
practical use of his property if required to conform to the minimum lot area
requirements of the zoning ordinance and granting of the request will be in
harmony with the intent and purpose of the zoning ordinance and that no
purpose will be served by requiring compliance with the procedures of the
Subdivision Ordinance, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to Ray M. Clark to
subdivide Lot 12, Block 2, Brookside into two tracts, one being measured
56.25 feet and 53.58 feet front respectively and 60 feet each, rear, and
135 feet deep each, the remainder of said Lot 12 to be added to adjacent Lot
1, and
