Resolution No. 491 Adopted October 28, 1957
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMIT
UNDER SECTION 10.3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Council by G. B. Hill
for permit under Section 10.3 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of St. Louis
Park for the following purpose: for a special permit to permit the location
of a Light Industrial or Commercial Use within 300 feet of a public/at 61325
Hamilton Street and sc o0
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the advices and recommendations
of the Planning Commission and the effect of the proposed use.on the health,
safety and welfare of the occupants of the surrounding lands, existing traffic
conditions, including parking facilities on adjacent streets, and the effect on
values and properties in the surrounding area, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that
it is hereby determined that the said proposed use will not be detrimental to
the health, safety or public welfare of the occupants of surrounding lands,
nor will it cause serious traffic congestion, nor hazards, nor will it serious-
ly depreciate surrounding property values, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permit be hereby granted to the applicant
for the purpose above set forth.

ORDERING INSTALLATION OF ORNAMENTAL STREET LIGHTING
WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified
in the notice published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch October 24 & 31, 1957,
relating to the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all
interested persons appearing at said meeting and has secured from the City
Engineer a report advising it in a preliminary way that each proposed im-
provement is feasible, and as to whether it should best be made as proposed
or in connection with other improvements, and the estimated cost of the
improvements,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St.
Louis Park that the following public improvements be hereby ordered in
accordance with plans and specification to be prepared by the City Engin-
eer and filed with the City Clerk, and submitted to the Council for
approval, the plan to provide for installation of 40 light posts with
lights on the following streets:
