RESOLUTION LEVYING TAX FOR PROPORTIONATE SHARE OF
_ HENNEPIN COUNTY PARK DISTRICT BUDGET
WHEREAS the Board of the Hennepin County Park District pursuant to
Chapter 806 Laws of Minnesota 1955 (MSA 398.16) as amended by Chapter 160
Laws of Minnesota 1957, has established the Park District Budget for 1958;
and
WiIEREAS the Board pursuant further to above law has established
that the City of St. Louis Park's proportionate share of the Budget above
referred to, based on eighteen cents ($.18) per capita according to the last
Federal Decennial Census be $4,075.92; now
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park
that the sum of $4,150.00 be levied for the current year, collectible in
1958, upon the taxable property in said City of St. Louis Park, for the
above purpose..
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be hereby authorized to
certify above levy to the Auditor of Hennepin County in like manner as State,
County and other municipal taxes.

Resolution No. 180 Adopted October 14, 1957
AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO DISPOSE OF
ABANDONED BICYCLES
WHEREAS, the City Manager has advised the Council that 29 abandoned
bicycles are in the possession of the City Police Department and all of said
bicycles have been in possession of the department for more than one year,
are unlicensed bicycles, and that the owners of the respective bicycles are
unknown, the said bicycles having been found by the Police Department and
apparently abandoned in public streets and places of the City at various
times, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the 'City Manager be here-
by authorized and directed to dispose of said bicycles at public auction
or private sale, as he shall deem for the best interests of the City, after
first publishing notice of the time and place where said bicycles will be
offered for sale and giving the respective owners an opportunity to claim
the same upon proper identification prior to the date of sale.
