HomeMy WebLinkAbout461 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1957/09/161 1 Resolution No. 460 Adopted September 9, 1957 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING DEPOSITORY FOR CITY FUNDS RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the Citizen's -State Bank of St. Louis Park, Minnesota be hereby designated as -a depository for the -funds of this City, not to exceed however; the amount of $1,200,000.00 at any one-time, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized-to- open uthorized-toopen or continue an account or accounts with said Bank on such terms as re- quired by said bank in the name of the City, and to deposit, or cause to be deposited in such account or -accounts, any monies, checks, drafts, orders notes or other instruments for the payment of money. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that until further notice of the City Council by resolutions, withdrawals from the account or accounts shall be upon written order of the Treasurer, countersigned by the City Manager and the City Clerk. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that -this notice shall continue -in force until: written notice of its recision or modification has been received by said Bank. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Bank deposit with the Marquette National Bank of Minneapolis, Minnesota, as -security, f'or such -deposit -such. securities as may be approved by the City Council in amount required by law. ORDERING GRADING AND BITUMINOUS STABILIZING WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in the notice published in the -St. Louis Park Dispatch August 29 & September 5, 1957, relating to the public improvements hereinafter described and has heard all inter- ested persons appearing at said meeting and has secured -from the City Engineer a report advising it in a preliminary way that each proposed improvement is feasible, and -as to whether it should -best be -made as proposed or in connection with other improvements, and the estimated cost of the improvements, THEREFORE, -BE IT RESOLVED -by the City Council of the City of -St. Louis &Park that the following public improvements be hereby ordered in accordance with plans and specifications which have been prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk, and which are hereby approved. GRADING AND BITUMINOUS STABILIZING Im r. No. Texas Avenue from Cedar Lake Road to Wayzata Boulevard BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall amend and supersede Resolution No. 431, adopted August 12, 1957, in so far as the saine provides for application of bituminous stabilized base to Texas Avenue from Franklin Avenue to U.
